POC Fornix MIPS is a top all-mountain helmet, recognizable and most frequently chosen. Enhanced and updated for the new season according to our Whole Helmet Concept™ - we always strive to improve, even if what already exists is more than good enough.
This season, the helmet has been upgraded with the MIPS brain protection system, which increases head protection during snow falls. The system allows the helmet to move within a range of 10-15 mm upon impacts, aiming to reduce the rotational force exerted on the head. Updates also include an extended PC (polycarbonate) shell that covers the helmet edges and an improved size adjustment system, making it easier for every user to find a secure and comfortable fit.
Original features such as aramid bridge reinforcement, which helps disperse impact forces over the helmet's surface, enhancing impact absorption and protection against penetration, as well as adjustable ventilation and goggle ventilation, remain in the updated model.
