The Mega Split is a true gem among splitboards, undoubtedly belonging to the premium category. It is one of the lightest, if not the lightest, splitboards on the market, which is crucial during mountain expeditions. Inspired by the CAPiTA Mercury series, the Mega Split is a split version of the high-tech CAPiTA Mega Merc board. This splitboard is ideal for advanced riders who can handle any conditions.
Mega Split features an ultra-light, advanced premium core - the 3D ASCEND 1 SPLIT CORE™, reinforced with wide PURE MEGA CARBON™ strips. Combined with the directional camber ALPINE V1 construction, with lifted tips, and the new thicker and incredibly fast MEGADRIVE™ XT BASE with carbon and MOONSHOT OMNI-TUNE™ structure, it creates one of the fastest boards on the slope. The board holds an edge perfectly and transfers energy exceptionally well.
Since last season, the CAPiTA The Mothership factory was the first to introduce precision technology for cutting and sharpening the center edge, ensuring that the connected parts of the board fit perfectly together. This makes riders feel like they are riding a traditional snowboard, not a splitboard.
The board comes with UNION EXPEDITION CLIMBING SKINS PRO by Montana™, tailored to the length of the board. The PRO version hooks and clips are also made by Union Bindings.

ALPINE V1 PROFILE:
The Alpine V1 Profile construction features camber in the middle, a flat tail, and reverse camber on the nose. This configuration offers great pop and stability on hard snow while enhancing lift and landing power, increasing the rider's capabilities in deep snow. The longer camber in the tail provides additional power during ascents, which is beneficial for larger riders seeking a wider board.
